Why Didsbury roofs grow so much moss
Didsbury is one of the greenest parts of south Manchester. Tree-lined roads, big back gardens, Fletcher Moss and the Mersey valley right on the doorstep. It is a lovely place to live, but all that shade and damp air means roofs here stay wet long after the rain stops, and moss loves it.
